\nThe Messenger of Allah [SAW] delayed ‘Isha’ prayer one night, until half the night had passed, then he came out and led us in prayer. And it is as if I can see the whiteness of his silver ring on his hand.\n<\/p>\n

\nDo not give up prayer at night, for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would not leave it. Whenever he fell ill or lethargic, he would offer it sitting.\n<\/p>\n

\nAllah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) disliked to sleep before the `Isha’ prayer and to talk after it.\n<\/p>\n

\nNo Salat is more burdensome to the hypocrites than the Fajr (dawn) prayer and the ‘Isha’ (night) prayer; and if they knew their merits, they would come to them even if they had to crawl to do so.\n<\/p>\n

Friday Prayer Jumua<\/h2>\n

\nThe Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “If anyone performs Wudu’ properly, then comes to the Friday prayer, listens to the Khutbah (religious talk) attentively and keeps silent, his (minor) sins between that Friday and the following Friday will be forgiven, with the addition of three more days; but he who touches pebbles has caused an interruption. ”\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the mosque), then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present and the last Friday would be forgiven.”\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Prophet (peace be upon him) said: He who leaves the Friday prayer (continuously) for three Friday on account of slackness, Allah will print a stamp on his heart.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “On every Friday the angels take their stand at every gate of the mosque to write the names of the people chronologically (i.e. according to the time of their arrival for the Friday prayer) and when the Imam sits (on the pulpit) they fold up their scrolls and get ready to listen to the sermon.”\n<\/p>\n
